Fattening
Barrack
1- Fattening
2- Own skins warehouse
The company does all the circuit of the animal bovine from the breeding, rearing and fattening and then turn to select the leather in our shed skins
Through the skins warehouse we can choose cow hides not only for its variety but also the highest quality. We are in northern Argentina benefited from the great variety in crossbred heifers in this area. This differentiates us from the competition. The selection of the best raw material for salting and then take the cycle of the production process.

Salty
Soakin
3- Salted hides
4- Soaking
Is the rawhide, before entering into the production cycle of tanning.Throught the process of salting the hides can be preserved for a longer time.
when you say salted hides, is already understood that is being previously hand picked from the skin warehouse
It is aimed at restoring hides and skins to the state they had immediately after flaying from the animals to begin the tanning cycle. Where it goes from the salty state to the natural state,
Is to give it back the flexibility  to begin working in in Flayed hides and skins are in most cases cured to prevent putrefaction before reaching the tanneries.

Descarne Tanning
5- Fleshing
6- Chrome tanning
We clean the raw cowhide by using industrial machines to give a correct finish just before
The tanning process. Here it is important to clarify that we don’t do the cleaning by hand because it can hurt the leather and it can loose viscosity.
In two words it is the removal of impurities from animal

The skins & hides are immersed in a basic chromium sulfate solution with in a large revolving drum that tumbles the skins and hides.

Drained Divided
7- Drained
8- Divided
This process has two main purposes.
A-to accommodate the hide fibers to perform a good retanning.
B-Have a lightweight cowhide to not overwork the machinery
In this process the leather is divided and what most interests us is the top cattle hair. Here we are looking to pass to the final thickness of 2.5 to 1.8 to 2 in the next step of the cutback.

Lowered Lubrication
9- Leveling
10- Oiled
In this process the fibers are opened for a re-tanning so the chromium will penetrate very deeply. Here we give it a good leveling. Going from 1.8 to 2 cm. thick.
In this step we apply oil, finishing the cowhide with a shiny smooth body, finesse, easy to the touch an a great leather scent

Steam Drying Fulling

11-Steam-drying

12- Fulling
We do dry our cowhides with steam in an industrial way and in series. This completes the process of tanning with a grade of humidity. After leaving the dryer the leather has no moisture.
This is one of our main advantages compare to the competitors, since we dry in series 365 days a year.
At the conclusion of the drying of the cowhide, goes into a fulon to be soften through a series of hits and friction generated by the movement of the fulon

Cutting and Fitting

13- Cutting and Fitting

It is giving to the leather neatly trimmed the final touches. You do this in a working bench and let it ready for export.
